Creativity
Creativity is a neat concept. In fact, it’s my favorite concept of all concepts. The dictionary defines creativity as, “the use of imagination or original ideas, especially in the production of an artistic work”.
I think of creativity as using your brain power to come up with ways to add color to the world. We have the potential to change the world with our colorful creativity. Our friendships, school-life, work-life, all other aspects of life, become colorful when we are creative with them.
Here are some small things I like doing to add color to my life: surprising a friend with a coffee (or five), buying yourself flowers (you deserve it), drawing a star here and there on assignments or notes, handwriting letters to friends, skipping to class instead of walking, and SO MANY MORE!
I just thought of a new life motto. I don’t know if you are ready for this. Ok here it is, spread color by loving in color. Adding color to your life in small ways leads to big changes. We are all artists of the world and the world deserves to have us put our colorful, creative mark on it.
